Frequently Asked Questions

   AZ Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do in-home or office based sessions?

At this time we offer In-Home and Community based sessions

How many hours do you require per week?

We have no minimum requirements for weekly hours. We prescribe hours based on goals, age, family schedules, and other factors. Most of our clients have approximately 4-15 hours of ABA per week.

How long is your waitlist?

If we have a potential client list, we will ask for information such as location, schedule availability, and insurance carrier. We can’t ever give a projected wait time, but if a spot becomes available that matches your information, we will reach out to you.

With which insurance companies are you in the network?

We are currently in network with Tricare, BCBS of AZ, Cigna

Do you take ESA Funding?

Yes, we are on Classwallet as a vendor for  Behavior Tutor and Therapist

What do I need to get started?

Requirements vary based on the insurance carrier for covered services, but with all insurance companies you will need an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis and an ABA referral from your child’s doctor. It is best to have both documents in hand before requesting services to reduce delays.  Expectation: BCBS of AZ allows ABA without an ASD diagnosis with a higher co-pay based on the insurance plan.

What if I don’t have insurance or my child doesn’t have an autism diagnosis?

ABA is not specific to autism and is beneficial for anyone needing skill development or help reducing non-functional behaviors. We offer a private pay option for families who would like to receive parent coaching or direct support in these categories.

What behaviors do you assist with?

We can help to reduce any behaviors that hinder the client from living peacefully in their current environment. We can also teach skills such as communication, social interactions, independence for functional living, appropriate classroom behaviors, and so much more.

What qualifications do you require for your staff?

All our staff hold either a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential. Federal and state Background checks are completed on all staff, We also require staff to maintain CPR certifications and undergo HIPAA training.
